We had a wonderful discussion with Stefan Apfalter from the Independent Evaluations Group at the World Bank. Since joining the World Bank Group’s IEG in 2009, Stefan has managed an evaluations program across a wide range of sectors and topics. His area of interest is where regulatory frameworks can help leveraging the private sector in contributing to global development goals. we spoke about the pollution report recently published by the World Bank, and discussed what lessons can be taken from it.
